School Based Traineeships & Apprenticeships

Students in Years 11 and 12 can undertake a traineeship or

apprenticeship part-time, alongside their HSC.

Students undertake the HSC subjects and include a Certificate II or

III course and part-time paid work during years 11 and 12. School

Based Apprentices then move into full time work after their HSC year.

Students gain multiple qualifications when they choose these

Australian Apprenticeship options. They include:

  • Preliminary and HSC Certificates
  • AQF Certificate II or III Certificates
  • Certificate of Proficiency

Some School Based Traineeships have the option of ATAR outcomes also.
